Fuchuan & Singapore: Voyages that Shaped a Nation is a heritage experience centred on Fu Ning, one of the world’s largest traditional wooden sailing vessels and a living representation of UNESCO-recognised shipbuilding craftsmanship.

《福船与新加坡的故事》以世界上最大的传统木帆船之一“福宁号”为核心,呈现一段融合历史与文化的沉浸式体验。福宁号亦是联合国教科文组织认可的传统造船技艺的活态体现。

Positioned at the intersection of history, culture, and design, the experience offers visitors a meaningful connection to Singapore’s origins—told through the lens of the sea and the enduring legacy of the Fuchuan.

该体验融合历史、文化与设计,让观众从海洋视角重新认识新加坡的起源,以及福船所承载的时代记忆与文化价值

The exhibition traces the journeys of early Chinese migrants who travelled across the seas on vessels like the Fuchuan, shaping the foundations of modern Singapore. Through artefacts and showcase of traditional craftsmanship, it brings to life the human stories, maritime heritage, and cultural exchanges that defined these voyages.

展览回溯早期华人移民乘坐福船渡海来到新加坡的历程,展现这些航程如何塑造今日的新加坡。通过叙事、文物与传统工艺展示,呈现人与海洋、文化与迁徙之间的深刻联系。

Step aboard and walk the very deck where these stories once unfolded. Visitors can explore the vessel up close, discover the craftsmanship behind its construction, and gain a deeper appreciation of the maritime journeys that helped shape the Singapore we know today.
